So if you’re like me and decide that you aren’t gonna watch the Oscars because you have too much work, and then end up watching it anyways, you would know that there was a mistake. La La Land was given the Oscar for best film–by mistake. It was really supposed to be Moonlight. Honestly, I think that we could all learn something from the way the director (I think it was the director) acted. He was calm, and excepted the decision and kept insisting the Moonlight film team that it was theirs and that they should take it.
We all need to learn to except life’s curveballs and accept things as they are, even if we don’t like it.
I know that’s something I definitely need to work on.
